My Approach
As a humanistic practitioner, my approach is tailored to the individual and is based on my belief that we all have the right to accept and appreciate ourselves for who we really are.
I work with individuals on all issues, and have a specialism in working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and recovery from physical and sexual abuse.
I bring to my practice 9 years of management experience in the voluntary sector, and I also work for The Women and Girls Network, a specialist counselling organisation for women have experienced violence and abuse.
I am a qualified and experienced therapist. I began my personal development at Spectrum, Centre for Humanistic Psychotherapy in 2001, and my formal training in there 2004. My qualifications include the Spectrum Post Graduate Course in Psychotherapy and the Oxford and Cambridge RSA Certificate in Counselling Skills.
I abide by the BACP Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct Procedure
